Mixed events are always attracting the best poker players and event 2 of World Series Of Poker was no exeption.
Among the 110 participatns there was also 11-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, accopmpanied by Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, John Juanda, Mike "The Mouth" Matusow and many others of the world´s poker elite. Players were competing in limit hold'em, Omaha hi/lo, razz, stud and stud hi/lo.
When the day 1 concluded, there was fifty-six survivors with Phill Hellmuth and Phil Ivey on the top of the leader board. The other pros, who finished at the end of the day with healthy stacks were Gus Hansen, Daniel Negreanu, Hendon Mobsters, Joe Beevers and Barny Boatman.
After more than 14 hours of play in day 2, there is only 11 players, who will fight for the coveted bracelet. Max Pescatori became a bubble boy when he was defeated by Sherkhan Farnood no matter he made a strong appearence early in the day when he had defeated John Phan and 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event finalist Kelly Kim. Phill Hellmuth was loosing his stack during the whole day. He also received a warning for the abusive behaviour from the dealer and finally he was sent to the rail in 12th place.
