First WSOPE event sold out
Image This week started 2010 edition of WSOP Europe in London’s Empire Casino and already first event £2,500 buy-in Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em drew 244 players. The tournament was completely sold out. Alternates had to fill empty seats as the players were hitting the rails gradually.

It is the first time a Six-Handed tournament has been a part of WSOP Europe. This online born-and-raised poker variant is gaining lots of popularity. It is almost for sure this is not the last it is played during these series.

Also the participation is really huge this year it is expected to be the highest ever.

Especially £1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em starting on Friday is projected to be the biggest WSOP Europe tournament in history. The largest should be this year’s WSOP Europe as a whole too. In 2010 it is going to be fourth series held in London. In 2007, there were three gold bracelet events. In 2008, for such events were played. There was possible to win the same amount of gold bracelets in 2009. This year the number increase to 5 gold bracelets events.
