ChanPoker.com announced closure
Image Chan Poker is finishing its operation on August 21 as was announced on its front page. The online poker room, most recently part of popular Ongame Network and headed by 10-time WSOP bracelet winner Johny Chan was founded in 2006, when a lot of sites were created and did well. But just few months later the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was passed.
This act meant the end of play for american customers and had a smashing effect on all of the newer sites..

Chanpoker.com players are asked to withdraw the money from their accounts and the site is searching for a spare poker room, which would accept the players, who wants to continue to play online poker. 

It´s still not sure where the next stop for Johnny Chan will be. Possibly Full Tilt Poker a or PokerStars, but there´s also chance of smaller room signing Chan to a deal.
